Her fairy tale, Poupette Giraud, wrote it in Saint Barth where she settled in 1979.
“Poupette” is the nickname of her childhood, the one that rhymes with authenticity, sweetness of life, carefree, freedom, travel, discovery … the desire to live everything naturally and without constraints.
The desire to create a ready-to-wear collection in the image of her ideals was born in 1995. The designer is inspired by chic and light styles that highlight the silhouette of women in love with life, those who appreciate comfort to live their most beautiful adventures but also women looking for elegance and lightness. Like a perfume that you diffuse gently as you move, Poupette’s creations embrace you and embody you.
The subtle fabrics such as satin and silk chosen by the designer bring a touch of charm and incandescent femininity. Declined in dresses, tunics, vaporous pants, long or mini skirts, shorts … and their tops to match, but also countless possibilities of matching with wonderful accessories. So, Villa ELLE Saint-Barth was the perfect place for this invitation to travel, offering Poupette a magical and unique place to present its spring summer 2023 collection. This characterful villa, gentle and wild at the same time, located on the side of a cliff with a breathtaking view of the ocean, was going to keep all its promises.
Its luminosity, its Greek architecture, its many spaces overlooking the sea, its hypnotic red roofs and its sweetness of life, have sublimated the collections of Poupette.
